I found it easy to apply the wood-conditioners-waxes-oils to the cutting boards. Sanding out all the past cuts and most of the stains was pretty easy with a Dewalt Palm Sander. I then applied the oil and let it soak in for 24 hours. I did the same for the sealer cream. Now, the cutting boards are not only beautiful but also bead moisture and wipe clean with a wet sponge. There is plenty of product to treat them all monthly for at least a year or more.
I applied the board cream 4 or 5 times over the course of 4 days and it brought the board back to life.
