96% liked the adjustable features
The boot is lightweight, stylish, and sturdy. It was important to me that the boot was stylish. Therefore, the adjustability of the boot is good.
94% liked the ankle support
I am satisfied with the boots as they provide excellent ankle support.
The boots provide perfect ankle support for me, although they are not as high as some hikers prefer for tying their shoes.
I needed something to support my ankle and provide good arch support. I purchased Timberland Norwood Boots and was very happy with the support I got from the boots.
The boots have nice support for my arches and ankles and are comfortable.
94% praised the breathability
I found that the boots are warm with wool socks for colder nights, but breathable with regular socks during the day hikes.
97% found them comfortable
These boots are comfortable and held up well. With my plantar fasciitis, I would have limped without them. They are neither too heavy nor too light, and are bearable.
I find the boots surprisingly comfortable despite being arthritic in one foot.
Now that I have broken them in, the boots are very comfortable.
98% praised the durability
The boots are lightweight and durable.
The boots are very durable.
The boots are comfortable, not heavy, and well-designed. They hold up pretty well in muddy areas.
I was impressed with the weight of the shoes, which were light, flexible, and durable.
95% appreciated the excellent traction
I was surprised by the traction of the boots while climbing Yosemite all day.
The grip of these boots is awesome and they hug the trail. Compared to my past hiking boots, these have better grip.
97% liked the waterproofing
During the PNW windstorm/rainstorm, my feet stayed warm and dry in the boots.
I tested the waterproofing of my boots by hiking in Vermont and stepping in puddles and mud, and found no issues.
I was impressed with the waterproofing of the boots. I walked out into the lake while wearing them to put the canoe into the water and my socks barely got wet.
I crossed small streams and dealt with significant mud and rain during my entire trip without any issues with water. My comment is based on my experience.
95% appreciated the lightweight design
The boots kept my feet dry during the hike and were lightweight without causing any blisters or sore spots.
I have a couple of screws in one ankle which makes it painful to wear almost any ankle high shoe, but these shoes hug just right that my ankle is not painful for about four hours straight of work.
