I noticed that the material feels nice but it shrunk after washing. This resulted in the pants being 4 inches shorter than their original length.

I love the high waist and the medium size fits me great. My height, weight, and body shape indicate positive waistband comfort.
I find the waistband stretchy and the fabric loose, making it comfortable to wear. The neutral color is also a plus.
For apple shaped or those with some belly to cover, it is recommended to size up as the waistband is on the smaller side.
