I can now stream music from my phone or tablet to my stereo system with ease and enjoy the music on excellent speakers.
The Bluetooth range is strong and steady even when the B1 is in a different room than my iMac with walls separating them.
I can play music from my cellphone cordlessly while sitting on the couch. Most of my phone functions work just fine while the music plays fantastically through my vintage Accuphase amps AUX inputs.
I get 50-75 feet out of the range with plaster walls, although it could be better.

The HK unit worked fine for connecting my cell to the Yamaha inside the pool house but lost connection as soon as I went outside with my cell phone.

This device is a delightful addition for anyone looking for bluetooth integration with older equipment.
The Audioengine is compatible with my iPad and it sleeps when not in use for extended periods, but wakes up and reconnects to my iPad without any need to touch it.
I have not faced any audible issues after establishing the Bluetooth connection.
