I have noticed that the wire-strippers may require adjusting the closing force depending on the wire gage. This can be done by turning the chrome knob on the rear to increase or decrease the closing pressure.

I am satisfied with the wire-strippers' stripping ability. It does a very good job of stripping wires. I have only used the 12/14 hole so far, but it seems that this tool will strip all gauges well, as long as they are 20/22 to 12/14.
