The Vinotemp wine cooler looks better than the Whynter wine cooler.
The wine cooler fits perfectly in our cabinet space and looks great with our other stainless appliances.
I am upset with the design of the wine fridge. In the pictures, the fridge had a clear glass door with nothing on it. However, when I opened the box, I saw a giant Whynter logo in the middle of the glass door, ruining a large part of the aesthetic appeal of the fridge.

I could barely hear the unit running in either mode, even less so when I pushed it back into the cabinet area where it belonged. I put a decibel meter on it and it peaked at 34 DB, Google search says that's a whisper in a quiet library at 6 feet; with compressor running peaked at 60 DB, average of 54 DB, about equal to a quiet conversation at 3 feet.
The noise level of my wine cellar is a major distraction. I can hear it in my living room even though it is installed under my kitchen counters.
