My repairs look better than those done by professionals and the oldest one is over a year old without any signs of cracking.
After ten years of use and 150,000 miles of driving in all sorts of weather, I can say that the repair seems to last. I have high hopes for it.
I had a chip with star cracks about the size of a dime. I followed the directions and it's now probably 90% invisible. The cracks on the repair are visible only from the inside in bright sunlight if you tilt your head at just the right angle. I can point it out if I look hard, because I know where it is. I doubt that anyone else would be able to find it and I don't feel that it could have come out better if it was professionally done.
