I love how quiet this window-air-conditioner is. My old window unit was so loud that it interrupted my TV and Stereo time.
When running on low level, the AC is quiet, but when it automatically powers up to a higher level, I hear an annoying, low-toned rumble for a few minutes. I have never heard a traditional AC make a similar sound.

Initially unsure if the 12000 btu would make a difference, but it made a huge difference. The central ac kicks on 1/4 off the amount it used to. I faced the problem of the central ac freezing over due to being overworked trying to keep large areas cooled. But after using this air conditioner, all areas are now at 72 degrees on the spot.
This window-air-conditioner is much more efficient than my 20-year-old ducted A/C unit. The newer inverted and double inverted window A/C technology is similar to running efficient mini-splits but without the need for any special wiring or installing of two parts of each mini split. The seer on these is 15 using a regular 110-115 outlet, making it one of the most efficient window units ever made.

I faced issues with the remote control as it only works when standing immediately in front of the AC. If this is for a bedroom, I will have to get out of bed for any adjustments unless the bed is right in front of the AC.
