Installation can be easy or hard depending on the windows. I had to modify the window with a rotary tool and cutting out a trench for the bottom to sit in.

The air conditioner easily cools off my home's add-on, which includes three bedrooms and a large hallway with massive, older windows that let in lots of heat (south facing). If I leave it on for more than a few hours during the day, the cold air reaches throughout my entire 1300 sqf home when it's 25-30+ degrees out.
I am disappointed with the cooling capacity of the AC unit. It is noisy and takes a long time to cool the room. Even on high, it does not get very cool.
