The unit has 5 gigabit ethernet ports, dual-band technology, and can connect with USB external drives and printers via a USB 3.0 port.
The extender has 5 Ethernet ports that can minimize wireless load.
The extender can be connected to the primary router or other wired Ethernet devices, but not both simultaneously.
The extender solved my problem of increasing wifi reception and connecting wifi-less devices to the internet with its 5 ethernet ports, but created new problems of stability and file/printer sharing.

I am getting 30 Mb speed everywhere in the house.
I set the extender to communicate with my router over 5g and output in 2.4. With two consoles connected to the extender, I got 50-70mb/s.
After finding the optimum spot, I consistently get high transmission speeds of 65-85 Mb/s in the worst areas of my house. It's also good for Comcast home subscribers with a hard wired computer to the router of 95 Mb/s.

The extender worked fine for a little while extending both 2.4 and 5Ghz bands with 100% reliability.
On 5GHz, my WiFi signal increased connection from about 100-140 mbps to 300 mbps and has been as high as 450 mbps.
