I can load the app on my phone and it automatically finds the router and admin credentials. Then, I can set the Wi-Fi name and password.
The mobile app allows me to make adjustments on the fly, including reconnecting devices, since I am running the controller software.
The software launches an app that runs in the background.
The user interface is nice but it becomes worthless when devices disconnect for no reason and don't show back up until I drive 20 miles, climb halfway up a telephone pole, unplug the power cable, and then plug it back in.

The signal to the sides and front seems fantastic.

The password and security settings can be configured and as APs are added to the network, they automatically inherit those settings.
I have a lot of customization options with this product.
The controller software has an AI feature that analyzes traffic and connections to determine the best settings, including transmit power and channels.

Setting up the software was easy. I downloaded and installed it easily. The software immediately saw my new unconfigured device and allowed device adoption and quick sharing of all my existing settings.
I was up and running within 10 minutes after installation, thanks to the easy setup from the UniFi control panel.
Setting up and managing these mesh access points has been easy for me.
Setting up the two mesh access points was easy once I had the AP-AC-PRO setup correctly.
