I installed a second unit in the bedroom and now all the bedrooms have a speed of 150-180 MBS.
I purchased three units for my home and it resolved all WiFi issues.
The wifi coverage doesn't reach the master bedroom or living room downstairs, even though the modem is upstairs in the laundry room.
67% liked the customizable settings, yet 33% found them limited
I had to manually set the system to AP Mode to extend my home WiFi. It was weird that it defaults to Router mode instead of AP Mode.
I had to call tech support and manually set up, which led to a call to the internet provider to change some settings.
It is not possible to modify the connectivity of our routers.
87% found it easy to set up, while 13% had trouble
The setup process was very easy and possibly the simplest network configuration ever.
Each unit effortlessly covers its designated floor and the signal stretches to my garden, which is 30 meters away.
I was impressed with the wifi system after setting it up.
I had to call tech support and set up manually, which led me to call my internet provider to change some settings.
76% liked the ability to support many devices
The Deco Mesh system works well for me.
I only need 2 devices to cover my whole house of 2300 sq ft and 2 stories.
I have connected multiple devices with little to no drop in speeds and there were no connection drops.
87% appreciated the performance, but 13% experienced issues
After connecting my PC with an ethernet cable, I noticed a significant improvement in download speed. It jumped from 30mbps to 301mbps.
I have no more dead zones, endless buffering, or frustrating weak connections.
I can only get 8 Mbps on any device, despite having an internet download speed of over 170 Mbps and three connected units using WiFi or wired connection.
The TV in our living room is acting strangely with apps like Netflix, Hulu, Paramount Plus, etc. buffering.
80% were impressed with the security features
The system provides seamless coverage for my security cameras, one of which is 35 yards away in a metal shop building.
The mesh wifi system reaches my security camera which is 100 ft away on a hill adjacent to me.
The whole-home-mesh-wi-fi-systems have good security features with no dead zones, buffering, or weak connections.
I find the android app interface really nice with more features than my previous wifi system. I can easily separate 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands, isolate IoT devices, rename devices, schedule reboots, etc.
The mobile app is easy to set up and has a simplistic design. No web interface has been seen.
