The mobile app is still clunky, but we can connect and configure most features wirelessly.
The mobile app is easy to set up and has a simplistic design. No web interface has been seen.

With the 2 unit system, I get full coverage of my 3500 sq ft house with gigabit service.
The coverage is good with high throughputs throughout my house.
I had to use four units to get the desired coverage, but I am overall satisfied with the product.

I can easily view my network and connected devices with the app, and optimize the band channel settings.
The app offers a fair range of options to customize the network, but the interface is non-intuitive, cumbersome, and complex, which may confuse even experienced users.
I had to randomly check/uncheck boxes during setup to figure out why they were not connecting. This suggests that the customization settings required trial and error and were not intuitive.

Downloads are usually 600 Mbps and over even at the far reaches of the network, making the speeds more than adequate for a 1G system.
The whole-home-mesh-wi-fi-system is 6x faster than my previous setup, with detailed speed and ping information for better understanding.

I love how easy the Deco app is to use. I have named all my devices and set them to use whichever band they need. I started using the IoT network for my baby monitor and all of my smart switches and lights, and it provides security I didn't previously have.
I have set up the automatic scheduled restart feature of the TP-Link Deco system to occur in the early morning.
I am concerned about the product spying on me, which I feel is an invasion of privacy.
The parental controls and antivirus need to be paid for.
