I found the phone app very useful for monitoring and configuring the installation, as well as tracking connected devices to nodes.
The mobile app is great, showing all connected devices and network performance.
I like the app because it's very convenient to use. It shows all active and inactive devices, their connection preferences, and which router they are using/should use. I can lock certain devices to their nearest router and set the connection to auto, 2.4 or 5.
I am satisfied with the app as it does much more and I can work through most everything I need to do right from the app on my phone.

The devices automatically determine the best way to connect and do not require any technical knowledge to configure.
Based on my basic testing of signal strength using iPhone 14 and iPad, I doubt the coverage claim of 6500 sq ft.

I found the installation process to be very easy and user-friendly with a step-by-step guide that didn't require any technical knowledge. I completed the entire setup process within 30 minutes using the app on my phone.
I found it easy to install and use the app. It was also easy to set up and connect to the router and link it up to the unit upstairs.
The first unit auto detected the 2nd unit and practically configured itself.

I like the 3 gigabit ports on each tower of the X55 to hook up devices like security camera dvr, smart tvs, game consoles, etc.
After setting up this wifi router, my worry about coverage was gone.

The router's performance has been fantastic with strong signals for both 2.4 and 5ghz. It puts the internet provider's built-in router to shame.
I tested the signal and achieved a high speed of 100s MBps.
When I used the router for over a month without restarting, I noticed that its speed went down to around 50% of the input line speed.
The wifi performance did not improve over the older device and there was terrible lag in one bedroom.

The system has great security features like adding VPN directly to the network, network health monitoring, prioritizing devices for WiFi, and grouping devices to assign to a family member. This makes it a good option for families who want to control their kids' WiFi usage.

Deco X-55 has various security features like rebooting the base from the app, labeling devices as hardwire or wireless, upgrading/downgrading firmware, renaming devices, and blocking devices while showing the signal strength for each device.
