The app asks for a lot of permissions, but the good news is that you can deny almost all of them and the nodes still work fine.
I faced difficulty reconnecting the node when it lost connection and the app made it almost impossible to reconnect without starting over.

The mesh system provides great coverage to our whole house and even to the yard, all the way out to the property line.
I got good coverage throughout my house with only 2 out of 3 units.

We can connect 48 devices at all times.
This whole-home-mesh-wi-fi-system does not support 160 devices as claimed. At 75 devices doing 100bytes/min, it bogs down and delays transmission to some by as much as 5 seconds.
Some of my devices are having a hard time staying connected to the weaker 2.4G network.

After installing the Tenda Nova Mesh system, I can now get 57 mbps DOWNLOAD on my phone in the bedroom at the end of the house (2700 sq FT) opposite the router. I also get 60 mbps directly off the router.
After switching to the Nova, I noticed that the signal speed improved and I could still get a strong signal even when I was outside 200ft away from it.
