The Google Home App has a basic but effective interface and covers all the devices in my smart home. It also has features like testing mesh strength, download speed, and current download usage. There are plenty of settings to tweak if I am a tweaker.
The Google Home app is amazing and does everything except naming the Wi-Fi. Its user interface is also more user-friendly than any other out there.
Some wifi points are not getting on the network and refuse to show up in the app. I have no ability to fix it because the interface is cheap and provides only one unreliable way of working with these things.
The UI is oversimplified and all manual adjustments have to be made through the Google Home app.

I purchased a Google WiFi to expand my mesh network.
I contacted support and was told that the wireless connection points cannot be more than 15 feet from each other. I questioned how 3 points at 15 feet away can cover 1200 sq feet.
I called the support and they suggested using a 50 foot ethernet cable to make it work.
I have different types of devices but I don't know what they are called. When the app asks me what kind of device I want to activate, I have to guess.
