Setting up is seamless using the phone app.
I faced difficulty setting up the mesh wifi system using the app and had to log in through the web interface to complete the setup.
89% liked the customizable settings, yet 11% found them limited
The customization options through the app are very good and there are many more tweaks that can be made by logging into the router via a browser.
For more thorough management/customization, I prefer router administration via web browser.
Asus has a web app called Asusrouter with an extensive set of features and parameters that can be used to customize the network to specific requirements.
I appreciated the advanced options available via the device's Web GUI, which allowed me to customize the settings to fit my needs and types of devices.

I was able to set up the whole-home-mesh-wi-fi-system in about 20 minutes and found it easy to set up even though I am technically challenged.
Setting up the entire system took about 15 minutes.
I appreciated the simple and minimal design of the device and found it very easy to set up using the Asus app.

I have around 30-50 smart devices connected at any given time, including a variety of devices like PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Apple TV 4ks, iPhones, MacBooks, and work-from-home computers with VoIP phone setups.
I have one for each family member's devices and a few for IoT devices, making it easy to track who is using what from my phone.
While researching mesh wifi systems, I found that the Orbi RBK50 supports up to 40+ devices.
I have been having trouble connecting all my devices and have realized that the Asus Zens do not support all my devices, despite claiming to do so.
