About Amazon eero Pro 6E mesh Wi-Fi System
79% praised the intuitive app, but 21% struggled
The Eero App serves as the hub of control, displaying node status, download and upload status, connected devices, and other information.
I compared Eero's software with Motorola's Mimim app and found Eero's software far better than Motorola's disastrous Mimim app.
I think Google has a better app interface and it's easier to use, but I'm willing to deal with it for the speed.
For the eero system, the only interface available is the app. There is no backend webpage like Netgear.

80% praised the coverage area, but 20% found dead spots
I need one or two more satellites to get coverage by the pool on one area, the hot tub in another, and the outdoor kitchen. Currently, I have at least 8000 square feet of coverage.
I have a large rural property and need to cover about 8000 ft..
I sometimes experienced lag with my devices on the fringe of coverage while using the older pros, but I don't face this issue with the new pro6E devices. My comment is based on my experience and includes specific information.
I am getting excellent coverage throughout my house with 2.4 and 5 Ghz speeds for devices that require them.

85% liked the customizable settings, yet 15% found them limited
I tried adjusting the settings for two days but couldn't make them reliable.
The Eero app is overly complicated and the only way to make changes is to wipe/reset the unit and start over, including changing the password or SSID.
I have been requesting a feature for the last six years, but it has been ignored.
84% found it easy to set up
The setup process was very easy and I had my extended network up and running in a matter of minutes.
Setting up the wifi router was very easy and it has a strong, steady signal so far.
Setting up was very easy with the eero app prompting me.
Managing the entire main WiFi network is easy and straightforward using the eero app.
70% liked the ability to support many devices, but 30% didn't
I have almost 100 devices on my system and it is working fine without any strain.
Eero seamlessly connects all of my devices without any need to intervene.
I work from home and have about 70 smart devices.
I need the ability to steer devices to a particular eero node due to the increasing number of devices on my network.
80% appreciated the performance, but 20% experienced issues
Adding a third radio (6GHz) made a significant difference compared to my old mesh network (Google Nest).
I found that the EERO did not perform better than my Verizon router.
After 4 months of solid performance, my Eero gateway started losing its connection to the internet.
The speed is not even close to gig speed.
70% were impressed with the security features, although 30% weren't
The security features are great as they filter out a lot of junk ads and pop-ups that were slowing my network down.
The security features of our WiFi network are better, but I am not sure about the technical details.
Eero has paywalled the most useful features behind a $99 / year subscription, including basic parental controls, basic network monitoring, and ad block.
The router's security feature blocks things on the network without providing information about what or where it was going.
