I recommend the pump to anyone looking for a durable high-quality replacement or initial application shallow well pump.
I have noticed two spots with set-in rust where there is no coating baked on. I am trying to replace a cheap Superior brand pump that had the coating flaking off and has been pumping rusty water through my pipes since day 1 so I am not about to accept this defect.
I used the well pump for 13 years and then had to replace it. It was difficult to find a replacement locally.
