I chose this camera because it has a narrower viewing angle than other web cams - 65 degrees.
I had hoped for a narrower viewing angle to capture more of myself and less of the surrounding room. However, the wide viewing angle is better suited for a group of people rather than just me sitting at a desk.

It's nice to be able to crop a 1080p corner of the 2K webcam for webcam perspective tricks where you put the webcam full frame, camera about 30 degrees left or right of you, and you put the desktop/game/hdmi capture such that it looks like you're looking at the capture.

I am satisfied with the webcam as it captures amazing detail on my face in a pitch black room with the ring light turned on. Although, there is a small glare in the corner, it is not a game killer.
