I am frustrated with the microphone quality of the webcam. It picks up everything and makes it impossible for me to work while speaking, which makes collaborating much harder.
A major flaw in this camera is that Logitech removed MP4 video compression from it a couple years ago.

The camera quality at 1080p is pretty nice and sharp, although darker lighting may be an issue. It is still better than a regular laptop camera.
I have noticed that the camera has good picture quality when in focus, but it is not in focus very often or for very long.
When I set the brightness high to expose well, there are hot spots. When I turn the brightness down to fix the hot spots, the whole image gets soft.
The blue light on the front of the camera may cause breakouts on my skin and could be problematic for those who wear glasses and are sensitive to the light.

The camera quality is pretty nice at 1080p and it is pretty sharp. Darker lighting could be an issue but that is expected and still better than a regular laptop camera.
Trying to do 4K or even 1080p with my camera creates all sorts of tearing, digital noise, and distortion.

With the free downloadable Logitech Capture software, I can control many things like zoom in and out, brightness, contrast, white balance, saturation, sharpness, and more, and my webcam becomes an HD webcam with excellent image quality.
Autofocus works well at mid-range and long-range, beyond 40cm.
