I like the simple but sturdy design of the camera mount stand. It tightens down on my desk just fine and stays exactly where I want it. I also like the teeth joints too, as I don't have to worry about slippage. I have it attached to the back of my desk next to my monitor, and I use a mechanical keyboard and can type a little aggressively- there is no shake or shimmy in the camera.
