About Suptikes 2 Pack Door Draft Stopper, Door Sweep for Exterior/Interior Doors
Overall Feedback:
85% positive
82% praised for its strong adhesive, but 18% found it losing its stick
I used a weather-stripping that fits the bottom of the door and tapped it into place with a rubber mallet. I believe it will stay put and serve its purpose, despite the fact that adhesives usually don't last.
I found the strip easy to install and trim, but it lost its adhesion after a week.
I had to use my own glue and tacks because the adhesive strength of the weather-stripping was not good.
I am disappointed with the adhesive strength of the product as it failed to prevent water from coming in through the exterior doors despite my expectations.
Options with fabric over foam tubes achieve comparable sound and heat insulation without the issue of drag, which is a problem with the current weather-stripping option.
82% appreciated the tight seal, though 18% experienced air leaks
The seal quality of the weather-stripping is good as it is keeping the cold air out and should keep the ants from coming in.
I am disappointed with the adhesive of the weather-stripping as it is of poor quality.
83% liked its flexible design, though 17% found it inflexible
I was afraid that the weather-stripping would make my door squeaky and hard to open, but it turned out to be quite flexible and I can't even notice it. This shows that the weather-stripping is easy to use and flexible.
To get good sound and heat insulation, align the weather-stripping tightly with the floor. But, if the door is misaligned, the draft stopper will create drag.
I used a weather-stripping that fits the bottom of the door and tapped it into place with a rubber mallet. I believe it will stay put and serve its purpose, despite the fact that adhesives usually don't last.
The adhesive is almost too strong and can take off the paint on the door if not applied carefully the first time.
