After cleaning the door casings with Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, the adhease stuck perfectly the first time I applied it.
The adhesive backing is easy to peel and provides a fast and sure stick.
I suggest being careful while installing the adhesive as it is very sticky. Take your time.
I found that the paper backing for the adhesive was extremely hard to remove, indicating that the adhesive strength may not be sufficient.

I found the foam strips easy to install. I just eyeballed the right length and cut them with scissors.
The product is easy to install - just peel off the backing and stick it on the surface.
I found it easy to install the weather-stripping by lining it up, marking the spaces for locks and the doorknob, and cutting with scissors.
