About ThermoPro TP67A Waterproof Weather Station Wireless Indoor Outdoor Thermometer
69% highlighted the durability and weather resistance, yet 31% experienced wear
the remote sensor is weatherproof and cold resistant, but it should be placed under cover or where free exposure to rain, etc is minimized.
The weather-station does not work well in colder climates. It goes to -58 degrees when the temperature is 4 below or colder and stays there until the temperature gets above 0.
63% liked the user interface and display, but 37% found it confusing
I compared the user interface and display of my new weather-station with my old unit. My old unit was touch-sensitive and I could just touch the screen at the right spot and it illuminated, going out after a short period of time. But this unit requires me to push a hard button that turns the light on or off.
I find the display difficult to read as it is LCD. Additionally, the light button is awkward to press and not very helpful.
64% were satisfied with the range of sensors, although 36% weren't
The outside sensor range only goes to -4F, despite the company's literature stating the low end of the range for the outdoor sensors is -31F. The inside sensor on the base station will also only read -4F.
66% appreciated the connectivity options; nevertheless, 34% experienced issues
I had to find a blurb on Amazon to sync the sensor as there were no instructions on how to connect it. It still hasn't connected.
71% liked the accuracy of measurements, although 29% found inaccuracies
The weather-station is accurate. I personally tested it by comparing it with an indoor thermometer in the same room that I knew was accurate and all three agreed.
The temperature readouts are vastly different even within inches of each other. My $5 meat thermometer is more accurate at sensing air temp than these.
