I find it unacceptable that the weather-station consistently shows the outdoor temperature to be 5 to 6 degrees colder than the actual air temperature.

The granularity of the barometer is 0.03 mmHg. When setting the pressure manually, adjust it to sea level values.
I noticed that the barometer claims to be self-calibrating, but even after waiting 6 weeks, the pressure didn't match the official weather station at the local airport. So I set the reading manually and now I get accurate values.
I find the weather-station consistently shows the outdoor temperature to be 5 to 6 degrees colder than the actual air temperature, which is unacceptable to me. The factory suggested replacing the outdoor sensor batteries and resetting the unit to factory settings, but the issue persists.
