I am dissatisfied with the quality and durability of the outdoor remote sensors of the weather-station. I placed the outdoor sensor behind a wall-mounted lamp to protect it from direct sunlight and rain, but it still failed after approx. 12 months of use. I also noticed signs of rust on the battery connectors and water damage to the PCB.

The display is easy to read straight on or laterally off axis to the left or right, but off axis vertically the image fades dramatically due to inexpensive LCD technology.

I found that the four units registered different temperatures by a couple of degrees. When compared with a mercury-based gauge, all four units registered 2-4 degrees higher than the more accurate gauge. This shows that the weather-stations are not accurate enough.
