About Ambient Weather WS-1965 WiFi Weather Station
Overall Feedback:
72% positive
80% liked the user interface and display, but 20% found it confusing
I have faced difficulty in connecting the display to the home wifi network and am dissatisfied with the instruction manual.
85% highlighted the durability and weather resistance
I have used many weather stations in the past, but they failed within months due to corrosion or oxidation. However, I have been using this weather station for over a year now and love it because it is durable and weather-resistant.
92% appreciated the connectivity options; nevertheless, 8% experienced issues
To broadcast on the Ambient weather network, I have to disable the 5 ghz on my dual band router as the weather-station does not work on it. This slows down my normal internet.
I am disappointed that the weather-station I bought does not have internet connectivity. I can order a different desktop receiver that will link to the wifi.
During the last weekend of April, two low-pressure systems hit the Eastern US. The gauge only went up to 29.40, but the local NWS station recorded the low at 29.20.
