The battery life is really good. It can be left on for a long time without being plugged in and charges really fast. The clock runs when not in use.
After 5 years of usage, I still get approximately 10 hours of charge from the battery, and it's still good.
The battery life is really bad and it dies within 2-3 days with minimal use on WX ALERT only. I tried several battery types but the result was the same.
The battery runs out in less than 8 months.
