I charged my radio to 100% the week before and after the movie, and it still had 80% battery left, indicating good battery life.
I am disappointed with the battery life of the weather radio. It only holds a charge for a short period of time. I tested the battery life by charging the units overnight and placing one in my truck and one inside my home. After 3 weeks of sitting, both units were at 25%. I contacted the manufacturer, Fospower, and they told me that this is normal and that the units should run for a long time. I am unhappy with this response and do not have confidence in the unit or the company.
For a week, my device kept fluctuating between 50% and 75% charged. It appears that turning it on for a few seconds consumes more battery than solar power charges it.
