About iRonsnow 5000mAh Emergency Crank Weather Radio
Overall Feedback:
90% positive
87% liked the long-lasting battery life, while 13% experienced short battery life
The battery life of this weather radio is very poor. I charged it via a USB charger and got only 30 minutes of FM radio. I also tried hand cranking it 100 rotations and got only 5 minutes of radio time.
My weather radio has an extremely limited battery life and cannot charge a cell phone.
The battery in my weather-radio never held a charge, but it worked as expected otherwise.
I couldn't charge my phone by even 1% and the radio didn't last more than 10-15 minutes.
88% praised for its rugged design, but 12% experienced broken parts
I bought the second unit from the same brand because I found the first unit so useful.
I suggest investing in something more durable and reliable instead of using this product.
I find the product a little flimsy, but not terrible.
90% found the interface easy to use, while 10% found it confusing
The radio is a convenient and portable device with a rechargeable battery that can be charged in advance or powered by solar or hand crank.
Charging is easy and fast with the included USB-C cable.
During bad weather, I find the weather radio useful, but it's not suitable for regular use.
88% liked its compact and lightweight design
This radio is a convenient and portable hand-sized device with a rechargeable battery that can be charged in advance or powered by solar or hand crank.
92% praised for its loud and clear sound
The radio has a super loud emergency siren and an emergency light.
The battery life of this weather radio is very poor. I charged it via a USB charger and got only 30 minutes of FM radio. I also tried hand cranking it 100 rotations and got only 5 minutes of radio time.
I'm pleased to say that the battery indicator is still showing a full charge, which is unusual for other devices I've noticed battery drain issues on. This is one you want to be able to count on.
I have another hand crank radio which broke after a few uses, but this item has been showing signs of good manufacturing.
