About iRonsnow 18500mWh Weather Emergency Radio
Overall Feedback:
79% positive
76% liked the long-lasting battery life
The battery life is excellent and can power the radio for 100s of cranking over 7 minutes.
Great battery performance! I used it for a few days during an emergency, and it never ran out of charge. The ability to charge via solar panel and hand crank is invaluable in situations where power is out for days. It lasted about 12-14 hours on a single charge, which is great for keeping up with weather updates.
71% praised for its rugged design
The radio has a nice durability weight to it, making it light enough to carry around without noticing it.
84% found the interface easy to use
The controls are easy to use and the device is small.
86% liked its compact and lightweight design
The radio is an ultimate addition to my survival kit as it is very portable.
The radio is perfect for storage and transport due to its tiny size.
82% praised for its strong signal reception
The radio has a usable sound quality/volume and picks up signals well.
The radio has a great signal strength and is better and clearer than my much larger shortwave.
The radio signal is very clear.
I was amazed by the signal strength of the weather radio as it picked up two stations.
The battery life of this weather radio is very poor. I charged it via a USB charger and got only 30 minutes of FM radio. I also tried hand cranking it 100 rotations and got only 5 minutes of radio time.
I found that the battery life of the radio and flashlight is pretty long. The radio plays for about 20 hours until the battery is drained and the flashlight lasts nearly all night if both are used together.
At 7:30pm, the unit shut off, indicating poor battery life.
