About Leaton 10000mAh Crank Radio
Overall Feedback:
78% positive
70% liked the long-lasting battery life
The battery life of this weather radio is great. It showed two blue lights remaining after using the radio for many hours, lighting here and there and charging my phone to 80% from 30%.
I charged the device overnight until it was fully charged and then plugged in my cell phone while at about 40% battery life. In less than an hour it was back to 100% and the device still had two battery lights lit indicating 1/2 power.
In my price range, the radio has a larger battery than other options.
71% praised for its rugged design, but 29% experienced broken parts
I find the flashlight crank weather radio with USB ports to be a reliable and versatile tool for emergency preparedness.
The case is solid and squared off, which is nice. It is bulkier than a typical flashlight, but it can stand up on any end, which makes it useful when using the reading light or positioning the nicely adjustable solar panel.
The overall build quality of the weather radio looks and feels a little cheap, especially the antenna, but it's not a deal breaker.
75% found the interface easy to use
I found the blue battery lights and crank system easy to use and it extends the life of the battery charge.
79% liked its compact and lightweight design
The device is a little bulky but overall doesn't weigh much. The handle makes it easy to carry and it weighs 1.1 lbs.
This device is a valuable addition to any survival kit with its combination of flashlight, weather radio, and USB charging capabilities.
The weather radio has a fold-out handle that can be used to charge the internal battery by cranking it.
70% praised for its strong signal reception
The radio works fine for AM, FM, and weather bands with its own little antenna and an analog tuner.
The AM/FM radio works well, but tuning stations can be a little difficult due to the small scale of the tuning sweep. However, with small adjustments, it is still possible to do.
79% praised for its loud and clear sound, but 21% experienced poor audio quality
The sound quality is good with the weather band and FM coming in very clear.
I find the sound quality good but not great, and it's quite loud for its size.
The battery life of this weather radio is great. It showed two blue lights remaining after using the radio for many hours, lighting here and there and charging my phone to 80% from 30%.
Throughout the trip, my phone stayed charged thanks to the radio. It was a huge relief.
