The quality of the pads that hold the watches is different in two different cases. The grey pads in the black box were very supple, soft and velvety to the touch. On the other hand, the beige pads in the grey case were very stiff and the material that was covering the pad was very thin and crinkly. The grey pads from the black case were soft, supple and very quiet, almost as if they were actually made of a fabric or some other softer medium.
