I tested the range of the walkie-talkies and found it to be about 1 1/2 miles with trees and hills blocking, and estimated it to be around 2 miles outside.
I am dissatisfied with the range of the walkie-talkies. I lost the signal within 1/4 - 1/2 mile even when there were no obstacles. I also question the company's definition of long range.
The range of our walkie-talkies is not as advertised. They only get up to about a mile and a half to 2 miles at the most.
