About Greenworks 40V Brushless Self-Propelled Lawn Mower
Overall Feedback:
70% positive
89% found it quiet; however, 11% complained about excessive noise levels
The mower is great, but the problem with the blade height affects battery life and strength to push it.
78% appreciated its maneuverability and ease of use
This lawn mower is powerful and lightweight, making it easy to maneuver and store compared to other models.
76% found it low maintenance; however, 24% encountered difficulties with maintenance tasks
I followed all the care instructions and did the troubleshooting, but still the lawn mower is not picking up the grass, not cutting it good, keeps stalling, and the battery isnt lasting as long.
85% found the height adjustment mechanism convenient
I find the height adjustment of this lawn mower great, along with its cutting power and pushing/maneuverability.
80% appreciated its grass collection system; however, 20% encountered issues like clogging or spilling
I was able to mow effectively on short and taller grass, wet and dry on a quarter acre with the mower.
I noticed that the mower struggles with slightly thicker grass.
77% liked its ergonomics; however, 23% experienced discomfort during prolonged use
When I work around small spaces, the mower doesn't work well, but it works fine when going straight.
If the grass is 5-6 inches tall and the front only goes to a max of 3 inches, I have to use more battery life and strength to push it as I am literally forcing the grass to lie down.
74% liked its engine power; however, 26% experienced occasional stalls or lack of power
When I used the motor, it cranked up when needed and the cut was better than with my old gas mower.
When I use the self-propelled function or mow thick and tall grass, the battery drains faster.
78% liked its cutting performance; however, 22% experienced issues with uneven cutting or missed spots
I used the lawn mower for the first time and it cut marvelously. I set it low and it powered through about 2.5"-3" of grass with ease. The motor cranked up when it needed to and the cut was better than it was with my old gas mower.
On a full charge, my lawn mower's battery life is terrible and it barely cuts half of my small yard.
If the grass is 5-6 inches tall and the front only goes to a max of 3 inches, it will use up my battery life and strength to push it.
On a full charge, I found that the lawn mower couldn't even cut a small-mid size yard.

The mower doesn't mulch well and clumps up quickly after a couple of passes. It choked out and stalled multiple times while cutting the grass. I compared its performance with my 15-year-old Honda mower.
83% liked its grass collection capacity and efficiency
91% appreciated its relatively quiet operation
79% appreciated its maneuverability and ease of use

I have noticed that the mower has issues with grass collection. The cut grass does not direct into the collection bag and gets clogged at the opening, leaving clumps of mowed grass on the lawn.
