About EGO Power+ LM2000-S 20-Inch 56-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Walk Behind Lawn Mower with 5.0Ah Battery and Charger Kit
Overall Feedback:
63% positive
72% found it low maintenance; however, 28% encountered difficulties with maintenance tasks
I have noticed that the blade well requires frequent clearing when using the mulch option. It is not unexpected but something to keep in mind.
I need to sharpen the blade before each mowing as it loses its edge quickly. I also keep a spare to replace the first blade about half-way through the job.
I received a call from Home Depot saying that the unit has been repaired and I owe them 78 dollars for replacing the blade. I didn't ask for the blade replacement and I believe it had nothing to do with the motor issue.
78% found it easy to adjust height; however, 22% experienced difficulty with the adjustment mechanism
The handlebar height and angle are adjustable to accommodate a range of people.
I sometimes complain that when I lower the mower to the lowest cutting position, the front digs into the ground.
83% appreciated its engine power and performance
I was skeptical about buying an electric mower because I thought it would not be as strong as my 6.25hp gas mower.
The engine power of my walk-behind lawn mower is just as powerful as any gas mower I have owned.
I compared the engine power of this electric lawn mower with my previous gas-powered mower and plug-in B&D mower. This electric lawn mower is more powerful than both of them.
75% appreciated its relatively quiet operation
The electric mower is quieter than a gas mower, but not super quiet. I compared the noise levels of both mowers.
The noise level of the walk-behind-lawn-mower is not as noisy as a gas mower, but it is not quiet either. It is somewhere in between.
66% appreciated its maneuverability and ease of use
The self-propelled feature worked great. I had to put the speed at 1/3 as it was a little fast for me.
78% appreciated its grass collection system; however, 22% encountered issues like clogging or spilling
Grass sticks to the bottom of the plastic housing and it is not easy to clean like other mowers where you can just hook a hose up to.
I like the bigger grass collection bag, but it gets really heavy, so I still have to dump it as many times as the gas push mower.
76% liked its ergonomics; however, 24% experienced discomfort during prolonged use
The lawn mower is fairly lightweight and can be used with medium effort.
The lawn mower is easy to push and maneuver.
When I extend the handle, it becomes quite long and makes turning somewhat cumbersome.
73% appreciated its maneuverability and ease of use

My engine power is lower, resulting in slower performance in deep grass and reduced mulching and vacuuming capabilities.
