I had some issues with the chime's initial connection via Bluetooth, but after the configuration, it worked perfectly.
I can send the video signal on 2.4GHz over one of 8 selectable channels, and a receiver will output camera video to my chosen monitor.
After some initial connectivity issues, I configured the chime and it worked flawlessly. The Ring Doorbell also alerts my Samsung phone with the same chime, so I can hear the doorbell from anywhere in the yard.
Even though I am less than 20 feet from the router and only have one wall in between, the device constantly says it has poor signal.

I can see real-time motion and activity in front of my home and street.
The doorbell detects every movement in front of the camera and notifies me immediately.
The device cannot record people on the sidewalk, critters in the yard, or cars in the driveway as they appear and disappear quickly.
After the 30-day free trial ended, the feature of people detection went away, making the Ring useless without a subscription. This was unexpected and disappointing for me.
