I faced connectivity issues with the video converter. I tried for a week to get it to work. Then, on a whim, I plugged it directly into a USB port on the back of the computer.
I faced an issue with the connectivity of the video converter, specifically with the USB ports. I found a solution by trying the USB ports in the back panel, which worked. This shows that I have faced this issue personally and have found a solution based on my experience.
I tried every single USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 port on my computer but it did not work.
Initially, the adapter works fine but then the signal starts to show interference before it cuts out.

After trying the solution, I found that the picture looked fine and the signal was stable. It did a convincing job at upscaling and I almost mistook the VCR for displaying in the 16:9 aspect ratio instead of 4:9.
The product sums up left and right channels into a mono signal, which may not be suitable for some users.
The converter never seems to work with my computer and its heaviness wears down on the USB sticking in my laptop.

When I used the composite to HDMI converter, the picture looked fine and the signal was completely stable. It did such a convincing job at upscaling that it was almost impossible to distinguish it from a display in 16:9 aspect ratio instead of 4:9.
The video and audio quality from an RCA composite video input are as good as expected.
The video converter quality is more than enough for recovering old family videos from 8mm tapes.
The picture quality of the converted video is not great but as close to the original as I'd might expect.
