I faced an issue with the sound while using the device. I re-read the product page and saw that it recommends not to use a USB hub or splitter. I solved the issue by plugging the device directly into the laptop and adding a USB Microphone audio input device in OBS.
I tried different A/V cables and it worked perfectly. Based on my experience, I can say that the video converter was the issue.
