I successfully connected the HDMI wire from Roku to this device and then connected the red/white yellow connections to my TV. I selected the appropriate input from my TV remote and the Roku home page appeared. I am happy with the picture and sound quality, which is as good as any other input from cable.
I was surprised at how easy it was to connect the device to TV. It has a charger box that allows connection to wall or computer.
This converter is compatible with older TV's without an HDMI input.
Connecting the Roku, television, and adapter was a bit difficult, but I was able to get it working after some trial and error.

The video converter works great, but there is latency in the auto from the picture and the audio is not in sync with the video.
After leaving the device powered up for more than a day, I noticed that the audio started to distort. It seemed like a capacitor or amplifier stage was becoming non-linear. Momentarily removing power and then plugging it back in corrected the distorted audio for a while.

The installation of the item was quick and easy. I connected the plugs to the RCA jacks, provided power to the converter, and plugged in the HDMI peripheral.
