I was able to connect my VCR relic to new smart technology right out of the box and it took only about 5 minutes to set it up.
I am not sure about the power source, it needs a separate USB connector, similar to charging a phone.
I noticed that the screen showed a resolution of 1080p even on my old CRT television, which is not possible. This indicates a problem with the connectivity of the video-converter.
When I try to play games, the video converter fails and the screen goes blue with a 'no signal' message. However, it works fine for displaying menus.
