I found it helpful that the box can be opened on either side, especially when the car's orientation doesn't allow access to both sides.

During my 1200-mile road trip with an average speed of 75 MPH, the cargo box was rock solid and did not affect the gas mileage.
On our maiden voyage, 2 out of 3 latches on one side broke, indicating that the product is not durable.
