About Lionel The Polar Express Ready-To-Play Set
Overall Feedback:
78% positive
72% liked the creative design, but 28% found it unattractive
When I pick up the cars, they feel like good quality products.
The train looks cool, but the sound gets annoying after a while and it is difficult to connect the cars and keep it aligned on the track. I would not recommend this train because of these issues.
72% praised the playset's durability, while 28% found it prone to breakage
I had to fix the broken speaker of the train myself and found out that I could replace it for $5-10.
76% liked the ease of assembly, but 24% found it difficult
I can assemble the train out of the box in about 5-6 minutes, it's very easy.
Assembling the tracks of the vehicle-playset is not easy for a little kid.
68% appreciated the endless play possibilities
I have personally experienced that the train does not pop off the tracks, regardless of the speed.
I am frustrated with the design of the track, specifically the little plastic pieces used to attach the braces that hold up the track. I have lost one of these pieces and have been unable to find replacements, despite contacting the company. It is bad design and planning to have essential but non-replaceable pieces.
I dislike the design of the cars, specifically the little contact wires that constantly bunch up or get bent out of shape, causing the cars to stop working.
I noticed that the Ryder is designed to be in a slight squat, which makes it prone to breaking if the legs are moved too much.
OR
The Ryder is prone to breaking if the legs are moved too much due to its design to be in a slight squat.
