I was able to fill the vehicle-cargo-carrier to capacity with my tent and foldable memory foam mattress.
The 18 cubic ft cargo carrier is awesome and large enough to fit all our beach chairs, blankets, etc.
I was able to carry 3 beach chairs, beach umbrella, wagon, several yoga mats, and a few deflated water floats with some room to spare in the cargo carrier.

I drove for 10 hours a day for 5 days straight through hot summer weather, pounding summer squalls, and driving rain. The box did not budge an inch throughout all of it.
On the first day of use, I drilled a 3/16 hole and used a push style plastic clip found on cars to secure the front, which caused the latch to break.

I found it relatively easy to install the product, except for the fact that the Subaru Outbacks roof rails arent movable, so I had to drill new holes in the box. However, I found it pretty easy to do so.
