The camera view was perfect and it came with angled spacers to adjust the view, but I didn't need to use them.
The viewing angle is so wide that the mounting location doesn't matter at all.
The camera provides a clear image on the monitor with a great field of view.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a camera that could be mounted directly into my vehicle, making for a cleaner and more professional installation.
The kit includes everything needed for installation and the instructions are clear, making the installation process easy.

I found the guidelines useless and cut the wire to turn them off. I calibrated the distances myself using the Sony radio provided ones.
I do not like relying 100% on backup camera guidelines as it is hard to tell true distances.

I have used the camera in rain, snow, carwashes, and Michigan salt and it has survived. It is a solid camera.
I used the camera in various weather conditions like desert, rain and snow that froze overnight while camping and the quality didn't deteriorate since I installed it.
After the cold weather arrived, the camera worked well before it shattered overnight. I thought some kid might have done something to it but after spending most of the day going through my Nest camera footage to see, nobody and nothing ever showed up to break it, it was 100% the weather.

The low-light picture quality is a bit noisy, but it is perfectly usable and sensitive even without reverse lights on just using dim parking lot lights.
The night vision is surprisingly bright and helps me see details in shadows that other cameras can't.
The picture quality is pretty clear in daylight and even in nighttime, but it is typical.
I don't want night vision on this camera and I have experience with surveillance cameras. Night vision kicks in earlier than you would want and your image looks terrible, so no night vision is a good thing when you have a light source.
