I initially thought that the camera would get washed out in bright sunlight and created an aluminum shield to shade it, but was amazed to find that it did not require it.
I have noticed that the daytime picture is not clear when viewed through polarized sunglasses, possibly due to the absence of anti-glare coating on the camera lens.

I set the image to appear as if I am standing at the RV's rear window, instead of seeing the reversed image in my rear-view mirror.
