I experienced a nasty glare from the backup lights and license plate lights while using the camera at night on my Ford Crown Vic. It is unclear if the camera lens has an anti-glare coating to minimize the impact of sunlight or headlights.

At night and dusk/dawn, the image quality of this camera is far superior. Daytime color is also better, but the image smoothness and detail are slightly less accurate.
