I found the product easy to install, even for someone who isn't great with wiring.
The installation process was very easy. I was given specific information on how to feed the cable through the lower threaded holes of the license plate mount on the Miata.

The backup display on the left side of the mirror takes getting used to. You can either focus on the display or the image in the mirror, but not both at the same time.

I have personally experienced that the display washes out in direct sunlight and the video gain is high in bright daylight, indicating poor weather resistance.
