I planted nine brands of corn and only Illini Xtra Sweet sprouted, indicating my personal experience with the disease resistance of the vegetable plant seed.
I doubt the quality of the seeds, wondering if they are genuine Burpee seeds or cheap Chinese products.

I was disappointed with the first batch of sweet corn as it was small, solid yellow and had very little taste. However, the second batch was larger and had tassels with pink in them.
